Painting & wine in the Dordogne

If you’re going to go painting in the Bordeaux region, it would be a damn shame to miss out on the wine the countryside is famed for, so why not do both?

Created especially for those who have a passion for art and wine, we are delighted to bring you this 3 night painting and wine holiday (please to ask if you would like the full week). Art teacher Jo has combined forces with her neighbours just across the vines in the family run organic vineyards of Chateau La Tour de Chollet to create this fully inclusive holiday (minus flights of course!).

Yoga in the Italian hills

This yoga holiday takes place in the medieval village of Casperia, perched on a hilltop in the countryside near Rome. The retreat attracts many solo travellers, mostly female. Some will be seasoned yogis and others may be trying it for the first time so everyone is welcome.

It’s the ideal place to unwind and let your troubles slip away with daily yoga lessons in the company of other like-minded individuals. And if you are looking to be a bit more active on your trip, the retreat also runs additional activities such as cycling, horse riding, cooking and more.

Photography holiday in Morocco

Join British born photographer Darren, who now calls the charming fishing town of Essaouira his home. Essaouira boasts constant temperatures of around 20+ degrees year-round and provides keen photographers with plenty of colourful inspiration.

Darren will always be on hand to help you get to grips with your DSLR or take your existing skills even further. His excursions aim to give you the chance to absorb the richness of this enchanting town while allowing you to produce photographs that go far beyond the usual holiday snaps.

“Because I have been taking photographs for over 60 years I was not sure exactly what to expect as well as how much I would actually learn, from my week in Morocco. I need not to have concerned myself as tutor Darren was marvellous (very knowledgeable and a nice chap too!). Because he was so patient, enthusiastic and well informed I would recommend a week with him to anyone of any level from novice to the more advanced/accomplished photo enthusiast.”

Jewellery and cooking in South West France

Caroline is a professional jeweller maker and can work with you in glass, precious metal clay (PMC) or precious metals. Adam, her husband, delights in teaching the famed French cuisine, with classics such as soufflés, coq au vin, crème brulee, duck confit, and many more.

When not in the studio or kitchen, you’ll be seeing the best of the region, with a vineyard visit and wine tasting session, an Armagnac distillery visit and tasting session, and an excursion of your choice to one of the amazing regional locations.
