    Overview

Adventure holidays in Montenegro are a great way to experience the breathtaking landscapes that make this destination so incredible. Nestled between Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, and the Adriatic Sea, Montenegro is fast becoming one of Europe’s worst kept secrets. Travellers from all over the world are starting to shout about the allure of this little Balkan beauty, from the wonderful cuisine to rugged mountains carved out by glaciers, and some of the warmest hospitality on the continent to the picture perfect, golden sand beaches.

Despite its small size, Montenegro packs in a huge amount of natural beauty. Whether in the ruggedly dramatic mountains of Durmitor National Park, the quiet, otherworldly forest and lakes of of Biogradska Gora, or on the sun-soaked beaches of the Budva Riviera, the ideal off the beaten track adventure holiday awaits any traveller with a thirst for the lesser-explored corners of Europe.

All these mountains, rivers and forests make Montenegro ideal for an adventure holiday. Raft in the deepest canyon on the continent, gorge walk up frothing river rapids, kayak on secluded lakes far from civilisation, and hike through some of the most spectacular mountain scenery you’ll find anywhere in the world.
