Best Time to Visit Montenegro

You could make your way across the entire country, ancient walled town, mountains, and beaches in just under 5 hours, so there is you would think there are no real changes in climate as you explore Montenegro. However, in the mountains during the night time it can get very chilly even in the height of summer, so prepare with a few extra layers.

The generally best-agreed time to visit is May, when temperatures are warm and pleasant, but before the high season crowds descend on the stunning little beaches and picturesque towns.
