Experience the greatest natural show on earth, nestled in the wilderness of the Finnish backcountry, in a unique, first-class setting. Spend your days immersing yourself in the pure natural environment of Lapland, and your evenings gazing in awe at the brilliant colours of the Aurora Borealis.

You’ll be picked up from Rovaniemi airport, and driven straight to your incredible accommodation for the three days, either and Aurora Cabin, Aurora Suite, Taiga Cabin, or a Sky View Suite. See our accommodation section below for more details on each option.

Seeing this phenomenon in person is one that simply can’t be matched, as brilliant reds and greens burst across the inky black sky, brushing the deep fir forests.

In fact, The Northern Lights were thought to possess great magical power, which is why the ancient Sámi shamanic drums have dedicated patterns for controlling the flames of the sky, and when you see them for yourself can completely understand why man might resort to the supernatural as an explanation.

You’ll have the opportunity to experience exhilarating dog sled and reindeer rides, and set out on snowshoe expeditions into the magnificent wintery forests and fells. Gliding through the impossibly still forest and the crisp, clear Lapland air is a hugely liberating feeling, and you’ll come across some of the most beautiful natural landscapes anywhere in Finland.

Satisfyingly wearied from a day of once-in-a-lifetime excursions, settle in for some delicious food prepared with only the purest ingredients from Lapland, served by a roaring, warming log fire and in the snug Lappi restaurant.

The entire program has been crafted with skill and passion so that you can enjoy this unforgettable experience totally, without compromising on comfort as you relax in the highest quality accommodation on a Lapland adventure to remember.

What trip to Lapland would be complete with a trip through the Taiga forest to find Santa Claus? Our 3hr Searching for Santa experience can be added on at checkout

A full example itinerary is detailed below, activity timings can differ slightly, your own personal schedule will be given to you upon check in.

*Price per person based on 2 people travelling from 24th November – 19th December, 8th January – 4th February and 21st February – 24th March staying in a Aurora cabin or Taiga Cabin (subject to availability).

Escape to the Wilderness

When you touch down at Rovaniemi airport, we’ll be waiting there to transfer you directly to the resort, you will drive through the ethereal pine forest, and arrive at your very own luxury accommodation, nestled within the still, white trees.

Take some time to settle in, unpack, or explore the site, then we’ll welcome you for a dinner in the cosy Lappi restaurant for a meal made with natural, local produce from the surrounding environment.

After dinner, the evening is yours to enjoy. You can choose to relax in front of a roaring log fire or even book a trip to see the Northern Lights:

Northern Lights Tour with SnowshoesNorthern Lights by Heated Sleigh

Then head back to your warm cabin for a night of lying under the ink-black sky, gazing upwards through the clear window to catch a glimpse of the incredible Northern Lights.

Activity timings may differ slightly, your confirmed schedule will be given to you upon check in.

Immerse Yourself in Nature

Start your day with a hearty breakfast and prepare for a memorable journey into the heart of Arctic wilderness.

Your adventure begins with a reindeer express ride — a serene sleigh journey pulled by one of these gentle creatures, deeply rooted in Sámi culture and symbolic of life in Finland’s far north. Glide quietly through snow-draped forests and take in the crisp, clean air.

Throughout the day, you’ll have complimentary access to the site’s sleds, snowshoes, skis and other winter equipment. Whether you want to explore winding trails, frozen lakes or scenic fells, you’re free to venture out and discover the unspoiled surroundings at your own pace.

After lunch, you’ll set off on a 10km husky safari. Driven by a team of enthusiastic, affectionate dogs, this is a thrilling way to experience the snowy landscapes and connect with the animals who thrive here.

In the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to personalise your experience with one of two optional activities:

Northern Lights Photography Workshop (1 hour)

Searching for Santa (3 hours)

Later, return to your accommodation for a hearty dinner, relax by the fire, and spend the evening as you wish — perhaps watching the Northern Lights dance across the night sky.

Please note: Activity timings may vary slightly. Your confirmed schedule will be provided at check-in.

A Final Morning

Wake up on your final morning here, hopefully blown away by the natural spectacle you witnessed last night.

Feeling rejuvenated and refreshed by the pure air, the time spent in nature and the extreme comfort you’ve enjoyed, head for a final breakfast.

Your stay sadly comes to an end at this point, and we’ll transfer you straight back to Rovaniemi airport.
