Of course Rovaniemi is the ‘official home of Santa’ which means if you are looking for the most authentic Santa experience then Rovaniemi might be the best option for you. In Levi you can do all the exciting Christmas activities with the bonus of being surrounded by Ski slopes. Saariselkä and Nellim are our Northernmost destinations, so if you’re also keen to see the Northern Lights then this would be a great option. Pyhä is nestled in some very scenic woodlands, so your husky ride and other adventures will take you through some beautiful scenes.

Without question, meeting Santa is top of the list. Whether meeting him in his grotto, in his home or in your home, it’ll be a magical experience. Remember, write a little letter about your children and hand it over to reception when you arrive so Santa can give you a truly personal experience.

As well as Santa, you can also meet all his amazing helpers. You can visit the reindeer farm and feed them, or maybe even go on a little sleigh ride. There is also the chance to meet Santa’s elves, who’ll give you a truly magical Christmas experience.
