Enjoy a fun filled break to Lapland. Get off the beaten track and experience what the Finnish wonderland has to offer, with a husky safari, reindeer farm visit and a meeting with Santa Claus!

Your adventure begins with a transfer from Rovaniemi Airport to your cosy accommodation at Hotel Aurora in the peaceful village of Luosto. Settle in, soak up the snowy surroundings, and enjoy a relaxing first evening before the magical experiences begin.

Over the following days, you’ll be immersed in the heart of Arctic life. Visit a traditional husky farm, where you’ll meet these energetic, friendly dogs and learn about their role in the region’s culture. Then set off on an exhilarating husky safari through snow-covered forests and frozen lakes – a thrilling ride through the wilderness you won’t forget.

Your journey continues by snowmobile sleigh as you follow a lantern-lit trail into the woods for a private meeting with Santa Claus in his beautifully decorated forest hut. This intimate experience is made even more special as Santa presents a small gift and shares a festive moment with your family in this secluded hideaway.

You’ll also pay a visit to a local reindeer farm, where you’ll meet these gentle Arctic animals and enjoy a peaceful sleigh ride wrapped in blankets as you glide through the snowy forest. Along the way, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of Sámi culture and reindeer herding traditions, making this a truly authentic Lapland experience.

Unforgettable experiences – these memories of your Christmas holiday in Lapland will last for ever!

Take some time to relax, take a walk around the village, and enjoy a nice family meal before your adventure really begins tomorrow.

Husky Safari & Santa Visit

After breakfast, wrap up warm and head out to a traditional husky farm nestled deep in the Lappish wilderness. You’ll meet your team of eager huskies before setting off on a thrilling safari through the snow-covered forest trails. Glide through pristine landscapes, taking turns to mush and ride as you follow the guide’s lead in this unforgettable Arctic experience.

After the husky safari, your adventure continues as you’re whisked away by snowmobile-pulled sleigh, winding through the silent woods towards a hidden forest hut aglow with festive lights. There, waiting beside the crackling fire, is Santa Claus himself – ready for a completely private family meeting in his cosy cabin.

Children will enjoy a warm, personal meeting with Santa, who will present them with a small toy to remember the magical moment. The experience is relaxed, enchanting, and set in a beautifully decorated forest hideaway. After your meeting with Santa, return by sleigh through the snowy trees to complete this unforgettable day.

Dinner will be served in the resort’s restaurant this evening, where you can share stories from your Arctic adventures around a hearty, warming meal.

Reindeer Farm Visit & Sleigh Ride

Today you’ll immerse yourself in the slow, traditional rhythm of Arctic life with a visit to a local reindeer farm. After breakfast, journey into the snowy forest to meet the reindeer herders and their gentle animals, learning about the deep connection between the Sámi people and these iconic creatures of the north.

You’ll then climb into a sleigh for a peaceful ride through the quiet, snow-blanketed forest. Let the soft jingle of reindeer bells and the swish of the sleigh runners be your soundtrack as you glide across the winter landscape, wrapped in blankets and surrounded by nature.

Warm drinks will be served by an open fire, and there’ll be time to ask questions, take photos, and soak up the unique atmosphere of this traditional Lappish experience. You will then return to the hotel where you will have dinner and have some time to relax by the fire or perhaps take a sauna.
