Overview

The surrounding hills are home to the olive and lemon groves which provide the ingredients for the famous locally produced olive oil and limoncello. Visiting the groves and the factories provides a glimpse into the lives of the locals and the industries they thrive off.

If you are interested in history, the Oscan ruins dating back to 600BC might spark your curiosity! These ruins are only the beginning of the rich history that Sorrento offers. From pre Roman ruins, to 14th century churches to its historic port, the town is a history enthusiast’s heaven. But let’s not forget about how close the town is to the famous Pompeii!
