This 3-night journey offers an intimate and authentic taste of Lapland, with no more than 16 guests staying at the husky farm at one time. From your first evening, you’ll find yourself immersed in Arctic life – the crisp air, the excited howls of huskies, and the magical anticipation of the Northern Lights.

Adventure awaits each day. You will set out on a full-day husky safari, driving your own team of eager dogs across pristine trails before pausing for an outdoor lunch in the snow-covered wilderness. The following day brings a different pace, as you ride silently across frozen lakes on an electric snowmobile and try your hand at ice fishing, a tradition deeply rooted in Arctic culture.

Evenings are reserved for chasing the aurora. Whether wrapped in blankets on a heated sleigh or venturing deep into the forest on a wilderness hunt, every outing brings the chance to witness nature’s most spectacular light show.

Your final night is spent in a private glass-roof Aurora Cabin – a warm cocoon with uninterrupted views of the stars and, if luck is on your side, the dancing Northern Lights overhead. You’ll still have access to your Guestroom, ensuring complete comfort throughout.

Between adventures, daily sauna sessions and the chance to explore on skis or snowshoes offer moments of calm and reflection. This is more than a holiday – it is an unforgettable Arctic escape that combines exhilaration, authenticity, and the rare privilege of experiencing Lapland in such a small, personal setting.

Arrival & First Aurora Hunt

Arrive at Ivalo Airport where your driver will be waiting to transfer you to the Husky Farm Guesthouse. Nestled in the snowy forest, this unique base offers an authentic and atmospheric introduction to Lapland – though do be aware the huskies may greet you with excited barks, adding to the immersive experience. After settling into your room and enjoying dinner, the adventure begins. You will climb aboard a heated sleigh, pulled gently through the silent wilderness. Wrapped in blankets, you’ll watch the night sky and, with luck, witness the Northern Lights flickering overhead on your first night.

Full-Day Husky Safari & Wilderness Aurora Hunt

After breakfast, the huskies will be waiting. Today you’ll set out on a 6–7 hour husky safari, driving your own eager dog team across snow-covered trails. A traditional outdoor lunch will be served along the way, giving you time to rest and absorb the wilderness around you. Back at the farm, warm up with dinner before another exciting Aurora Hunt deep in the wilderness. Away from all light pollution, you’ll have a magical chance to see the Northern Lights in their natural glory.

Please note: The long husky safari can be physically demanding. If you are uncertain, please enquire about alternative arrangements.

Snowmobiles, Ice Fishing & Aurora Cabin Night

Fuel up on breakfast before heading out for a day of Arctic exploration. Today you will ride silently across frozen landscapes on eco-friendly electric snowmobiles, before stopping to try your hand at ice fishing on a frozen lake – a true Lapland tradition. Returning for lunch and a rest, you can spend the afternoon unwinding in the sauna or exploring the snow on skis and snowshoes. Tonight, you’ll check into your private glass-roof Aurora Cabin, while still keeping your Guesthouse room. Watch the skies from the comfort of your bed and, with luck, drift off beneath the magical green waves of the Aurora Borealis.
