Casper

Casper has been a personal and physical trainer for many years. Upon starting his fitness and wellbeing camp, Casper's goal was to create a setting that would help people discover the connections between personal & natural health and physical training. Whilst hunting for a location, he recognized that the area of Zahora, on Spain's Costa de la Luz, had many essential necessities for his vision; wild natural beaches, a natural park, and year round outdoor training options. Casper is joined by Samantha, a certified yoga teacher specializing in Bikram and Ashtanga yoga amongst others, as well as Agnes, who completed her Vinyasa flow teacher training in 2015 and is also a certified BASI Pilates teacher.

Location

The training camp is in the beautiful village of Los Caños de Meca on the south coast of Spain, near Zahora beach. You’ll take full advantage of the stunning natural environment by combining challenging training with natural props and settings for great results. Perched on the cliff-tops straddling the coast road, this sleepy little village is quickly catching up, with a reputation as a great place for travellers and water sport enthusiasts alike.

What our travellers are saying...

This was just the kick-start back into fitness that I needed. From the word 'go' it was challenging and enjoyable, either in the woods, on the beach or just in the garden. We learnt about bush-living and nutrition also. Casper is a great instructor and very motivational!

Should I bring warm clothes?

Yes, we recommend bringing several warm layers, such as thick jumpers and coats. Most meals are eaten outdoors (unless it is raining), and it can get chilly. Slippers are a good idea for indoors, as the house and hotel both have tiled floors.

Is bug spray necessary?

Dependent on the time of year but here can be plenty of mosquitos in the area, so bug spray is essential.

What should I wear during forest activities?

We advise bringing long-sleeved technical tops for days spent in the forest, where mosquitos are even more prevalent.

Can I wash my clothes during my stay?

Yes, there is a washing machine available at the house, so you’ll be able to do laundry as needed.
