Laura landed in the world of yoga quite literally after she was thrown out of a boat in Australia, landing with a broken back. After rehabilitation she was able to walk again, but she was told her passion for running was no longer an option, and that the best form of exercise to would help her recovery would be yoga. As an outgoing and adventurous 18 year old, this news obviously did not go down well, but yoga has since changed her life and shown her a direction that she did not even know existed.

She initially came to yoga from a physical point of view due to her injuries, and led very dynamic Ashtanga based classes. Laura travelled to Mysore, India to study with Sharath Rangaswary and further her skills in Ashtanga. She attended many training courses over the years, and continues to further her yoga skills with various teachers from around the world, studying with David Williams, Danny Paradise, Mathew Sweeny, Gurmkh Gurmkh, Eionn Finn, Uma Dinsmore Tuli, Ruth Gilmore and gaining qualifications in Blissology yoga, children’s yoga, pregnancy and post natal yoga and Swedish full body massage.

She has a personal, friendly yet professional approach to teaching, offering a style of yoga that is dynamic and challenging with sequences set to rejuvenate the body from the inside out. She practises yoga at a physical level but through continued Vipassana meditation has developed a more spiritual path, which she incorporates into her teachings both on and off the mat.

Keen to encourage both experienced and novice yoga practitioners to join her wonderful retreats, Laura has an amazing team of yoga and wellness instructors who work closely with guests individual needs, whilst developing their confidence and techniques.
