On this secluded private yoga retreat appreciate the tranquillity of the French countryside whilst staying in private luxury accommodation and enjoying yoga with family or friends.

You can opt for the All-inclusive Retreat or Self Catering Retreat – please see the dates below.

Whether you opt for the all-inclusive or self catering you will be staying in the same accommodation and both retreats are exclusive to you and your group (minimum 4 people and a maximum of 6 people). The retreat can be tailored to your needs.

All-inclusive Retreat 2026 Dates:

On the All-inclusive Retreat all meals are included with a private chef, yoga classes (twice a day) and guided walks. (Some of the yoga sessions will focus on breathing, meditation and alignment. You will leave the retreat with a much better understanding of  the importance of breathing and how essential it is to yoga asanas).

This yoga retreat is suitable for all, whether it is your first time or you are a self proclaimed pro. Everyone is welcome!

Within the retreat there are lots of places at the retreat where you can relax, unwind and maybe even read a book in the sun or go for a swim in the heated pool, during the time you aren’t doing yoga. You will have the opportunity to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside and if you want to go further afield you can rent an electric bike, supplied at the property for your convenience. There is plenty to see and do here, the area is rich in historical relevance, there is even a chateau on the doorstep!

You teacher, Sam, is experienced in Hatha, Ashtanga, Restorative and Vinyasa yoga techniques and is looking forward to sharing her transformational techniques with you.

Days 1 - 6

A typical day on the All-Inclusive retreat 

Sunday arrival – check in after 4pm

Make yourself at home. Relax on the terrace with a drink and a choice of assorted light snacks with your fellow yogis. A selection of teas and water with be available throughout your stay. Perhaps enjoy a swim to revitalise you after your journey.

6pm – Enjoy the first evening restorative yoga sessions

7.30pm – Dinner – served by our exquisite chef. Dinner is followed by an explanation of possible areas of interest for to you to explore on your down times.

 

Monday to Thursday:

8.30am – Healthy breakfasts will consist of a choice of granolas, fruits, juices. Accompanied by a local pastry selection.

9.30am – Early morning walk (Throughout your stay we will offer a guided walk to help familiarise yourself and become comfortable with the surrounding neighbourhood. Additionally, there is access to electric bikes if you would like to explore further afield. The heated pool is available to you at all times of the day).

11am – Warm Yoga session focusing on breathing, alignment and meditation

12.30pm – Lunch buffet is an assortment of our chef’s tasty healthy creations.

Free time – Spend your time taking a walk, swimming, reading a book or enjoy some of the amazing tourists sites in the area. If exploring wine country is something you may fancy there is plenty of choice and not too far away. (10 to 20 minutes drive) We do supply a selection of wines ‘in house’ from our honesty wine bar, all derived from local suppliers. There are plenty of vineyards to choose from in the Vire sur Lot. Or perhaps you would like to relax and enjoy a treatment with our beautician Karen or Reiki and/or crystal healing with Georgia.

5.30pm – work on alignment and posture of the Surya Namaskara A series, followed by resorative yoga class.

7.30pm – Evening meal – Our chef will create a lovely selection of healthy meals followed by a delicious healthy dessert. All foods are sourced locally.

Your last night Thursday we leave you to choose from local eateries or self cater. There are some very good restaurants near us and we will be happy to arrange taxis for your evening.

 

Friday:

We offer you a lie in where you will be offered a breakfast buffet at 11am and check out no later than 2pm.

A typical day on the Self Catering retreat

Rise in the morning at your desired time

Morning swim

Yoga session (given at a time stipulated by you)

Breakfast (included). Served at a time the group decides on though after yoga is recommended if you choose to do a morning session of yoga.

Sun bathe or read a book in the shade, swim

Lunch whenever you fancy

Ride an electric bike to Bonaguil Chateau, 20 minutes

Visit a vine yard 40 minutes

Drinks on terrace (from the honesty wine bar) for early evening followed by a visit to a night market for evening fare. Regional produce is sold and cooked for you while you wait, sometimes accompanied by local musicians (through July and August).

Accommodation

The Villa

The property is arranged over two floors, with four bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has an annex with sofa bed. There are four king sized beds with luxury linens. Also provided are towels, robes and pool towels for your added comfort.

There are 2 bathrooms; one with a jacuzzi tub and rain shower, the other is a shower room.

There is a large seating lounge area, a snug, and a dining room.

The kitchen has a large LG fridge freezer with water and ice dispenser, a large Falcon stove (two ovens, grill and 6 gas burners), toaster, industrial microwave, Tassimo coffee machine and separate wine fridge.

There are 3 terraces: two covered, one open, in addition to the pool surroundings. Part of the open terrace has a built in barbecue/fireplace alongside a seating area. If you prefer a conventional barbecue we have a temperature controlled Weber.

Although the villa has all modern conveniences for self-catering, we do offer healthy breakfast served daily on the terrace at a time stipulated by you. There are plenty of areas to relax and enjoy the peace and solitude.

The villa is private to the group, as are the pool and garden.

The host lives on the property in separate accommodation allowing for easily access for any questions or needs.

Location

Your retreat  is based  in a beautiful house, set in the French countryside, in the small French commune of Sauveterre-la-Lémance in the South West of the country, in Nouvelle Aquitaine. With rolling hills and acres of untouched countryside, it is a great area to go on walks and explore by bike.

There are vineyards close by to visit and try some exquisite French wine, as well as cute cafes and family restaurants for you to visit and experience some authentic French culture.

The house itself is luxurious with an annex architect designed yoga studio, beautiful furnishings, underfloor heating and a secluded south facing garden with terraces over looking large gardens and heated swimming pool.

The nearest airports are Bergerac or Agen (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes), Toulouse and Bordeaux airports are around 2 hours away by car and transfers can be arranged on request.

Alternatively there is a train station in Sauveterre La Lemance.

How are the bedrooms configured?

There are 4 double bedrooms in the house each has either a king or super king bed.
One of the rooms also has a sofa bed.

How far is the village from the accommodation?

The local village where the train station is located in approximately a 20 minute walk.

Within the village there is a supermarket, bakery, butchers, pharmacy and a couple of bars.
