What you'll do

Speed across a crisp, white, winter wonderland by snowmobile, led by an expert guide who will lead the way to a hidden lake, deep in the Lapland wilderness. In this spot, far from civilisation, you will fish for your own ice perch and enjoy an ancient Lappish activity the locals have practiced for generations.

Explore the remote and uninhabited forests of Saariselkä in stunning Lapland. Ride through breathtaking scenery, taking photos as you go until you reach a small lake, where you will set up your fishing spot!

Feel as though you’re in fairytale Narnia, surrounded by pine trees blanketed in deep snow. Drill a hole through the thick ice and bait your hook before you attempt to catch your very own perch from the lake. Whether your fishing is successful or not, you will enjoy the beautiful Lappish scenery and build a fire to enjoy a tasty meal.

Your meal includes delicious soup with rye bread to warm you up, followed by warm berry juice and cookies!

All snowmobile safaris include an introduction to safe handling and riding as well as an experienced guide so there is not need to worry about safety during your tour.
