By day, you step directly into the Arctic way of life. You glide through hushed woodland on a traditional reindeer sleigh, wrapped in blankets as time seems to slow. Enjoy a snowmobile journey carved through snow-covered forest, pausing for a warming drink surrounded by stillness.
You venture into the dramatic beauty of Oulanka National Park, walking through snow-draped forest to the roaring rapids of Myllykoski, where firelight and hot drinks create a moment of calm beside wild water.
As darkness falls, you follow the aurora wherever it chooses to appear — travelling into the night in search of clear skies and open horizons. You wait beneath a canopy of stars as green ribbons begin to ripple overhead, witnessing one of nature’s greatest spectacles in intimate silence. Should you wish, you spend a day skiing the pristine slopes of Ruka, gliding across perfectly groomed runs before retreating to warmth and fine food.
