As you might expect in Finnish Lapland, the story of our Resort started from ice, and the first people living in the area were Sámi. They lived  in small communities as nomads, following the fish and game along the coast and  inland.

FAQs

Who can drive a snowmobile?

The driver of a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and in possession of a driving license valid in Finland.

The snowmobile driver is held liable for any damages caused to the vehicle.

How does the experience work for children?

Children under 15 years old are seated in a sled behind the guide’s snowmobile. We highly recommend one of the parents sit with a small child in the sled for the child’s comfort and safety. Parents, please consider if this activity is suitable for your small children due to outdoor stay and cold conditions.

If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged. In this case, you need to book the child as an adult!
