This winter escape to the heart of Finnish Lapland is all about slowing down, leaning into nature and experiencing the Arctic in a deeply personal way.

Over three nights, you stay beneath the stars in a glass-roof room with your own private Jacuzzi, surrounded by snowy forests and pristine wilderness. Every detail is taken care of, from exceptional food crafted by the Head Chef to private, immersive activities designed to connect you with the landscape rather than rush you through it.

This is an experiential holiday where moments matter: the hum of a snowmobile cutting through frozen trails, the quiet power of huskies gliding across snow, the warmth of a private sauna after a day outdoors. Hosted with care and intention, this all-inclusive winter break offers rare access, unhurried experiences and the kind of memories that stay with you long after the snow has melted.

A full example itinerary is detailed below, activity timings can differ slightly, your own personal schedule will be given to you upon check in.

Arrival

On arrival in Ruka-Kuusamo Airport or Roveniemi Airport you are warmly welcomed by your host.

On arrival at the property personalised welcome gifts will be waiting for you.

Settle into your glass-roof accommodation, where snow-covered trees frame the view and your private jacuzzi invites you to unwind straight away.

As evening falls, you enjoy a beautifully prepared three-course à la carte dinner, your first taste of the Head Chef’s Arctic-inspired cuisine.

Husky Safari and Farm Visit

Feel the quiet power of a husky team as you set off across snowy trails, guided by eager dogs bred for the Arctic winter. Whether departing directly from the resort or travelling to a nearby husky farm, this experience brings you close to one of Lapland’s most iconic traditions.

After a safety briefing, you’ll head out on a sled ride of approximately 45 minutes, gliding through forests and open landscapes. The rhythm of paws on snow and the crisp winter air create a moment that feels both exhilarating and timeless.

Back at the farm, there is time to meet the dogs properly — to stroke their thick fur, learn about their training, daily life and the principles of responsible husky care. A warm drink is served as you hear more about the bond between musher and team, rounding off an authentic Arctic adventure.

Snowmobile Safari

Engine on. Snow beneath you. Forest stretching in every direction. This guided snowmobile safari is a classic Lapland experience, combining speed, scenery and the quiet drama of the Arctic landscape.

Riding two per snowmobile and led by an experienced guide, you’ll follow prepared trails through snow-laden forests and across open winter terrain. There’s time to pause along the way for a hot drink and snack, a moment to take in the stillness before setting off again.

For families, younger children travel safely in a sledge pulled by the guide’s snowmobile, wrapped in the Arctic air while adults take the controls. It’s a shared adventure — part adrenaline, part wilderness immersion — and entirely unforgettable.

Guided Tour to Oulanka National Park

Venture into one of Lapland’s most striking natural landscapes as you explore Myllykoski in Oulanka National Park. With your guide leading the way, follow forest trails to the rushing rapids, where wooden walkways and snow-covered trees frame the river in dramatic winter beauty.

Pause by a campfire beside the water to enjoy a hot drink and light snack, listening to the sound of the current cutting through the frozen surroundings. Discover the historic old mill and take time to photograph the rapids from different viewpoints. It’s a journey that blends nature, heritage and the raw energy of the Arctic wilderness.

Private Sauna

Step away from the pace of the day and into the quiet warmth of a traditional Finnish sauna. Tucked into the forest beside the restaurant, this private sauna offers a peaceful space to unwind, surrounded by snow-covered trees and Arctic stillness.

Designed for up to four people, each one-hour session is entirely your own. With carried water and no shower, the experience stays true to its rustic roots — simple, authentic and deeply relaxing.

Farewell to Lapland

Enjoy a final breakfast as you take in the serene surroundings one last time.

Refreshed, reconnected and full of winter memories, you depart knowing you’ve experienced Lapland in a way few ever do – personal, immersive and truly unforgettable.

Day at the Slopes

Spend a blissful winter’s day wrapped in Arctic magic at Ruka Ski Resort, where romance and adventure glide effortlessly together.

You will be transferred travel through Finland’s snowy wilderness to Ruka, collect your ski equipment, and ascend by gondola to the top of the slopes—where endless white landscapes and crisp, pine-scented air set the scene. With lift tickets included, spend the day skiing hand in hand across perfectly groomed runs, pausing to soak in the views or warming up with a drink at a gorgeous bar nestled right in the heart of the slopes.

Later, drift down into Ruka Village for a relaxed meal at a local restaurant, sharing stories from the day as the winter light fades. It’s an experience that captures the quiet thrill, Nordic elegance, and intimate moments.
