Arrival Day

Upon arriving at Bangkok International Airport, your driver will be ready to greet you and take you to straight to your hotel in Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located about 80 kilometres north of Bangkok.

The journey will take around one hour and the remainder of the day is yours to unwind at your own pace.

Private Ayutthaya Historical Park Tour - Wat Mahathat

After breakfast and check-out, your private car and local guide will pick you up  from the hotel lobby to begin your tour.

This ancient city was the second capital of the Siamese Kingdom, flourishing from 1350 to 1767, and offers a fascinating glimpse into Thailand’s rich past.

You will start with a private visit to Ayutthaya Historical Park, including the iconic Wat Mahathat. Discover the ancient ruins and remarkable architecture of this UNESCO World Heritage site, famous for its towering prang (spire) and the Buddha head wrapped in tree roots, offering a fascinating look at Ayutthaya’s rich history and cultural heritage.

Bangkok's unique Markets

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before setting off on your private tour to two of Thailand’s most unique markets: Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and Maeklong Railway Market.

You will begin your day with a visit to the lively Damnoen Saduak, where vendors in colourful boats sell fresh produce, local snacks, and souvenirs along the canals. Experience the vibrant atmosphere as you navigate the waterway by boat, taking in the sights and sounds of this iconic market.

Next, head to the Maeklong Railway Market, a fascinating market set along an active railway track. Watch in awe as vendors quickly retract their stalls to make way for passing trains, creating an exciting and unique shopping experience. This tour offers a rare glimpse into the traditional markets and the ingenuity of local vendors in these charming Thai locations.

Bangkok – Kanchanaburi

This morning you will have an early start as your shared transfer pick-up departs at around 6am for Kanchanaburi province (128 km. to the west of Bangkok)

When you arrive Arrive at Kanchanaburi you will visit the Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, an interactive museum, information and research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand–Burma Railway, educating visitors on this moving experience.

Visit Kanchanaburi War Cemetery which is memorial to some 6000 allied prisoners of war (POWs) who perished along the death railway line and were moved post-war to this eternal resting place. You will also visit the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, part of Death Railway constructed by Allied POWs.

You will have lunch at local restaurant.

In the afternoon you will visit the Hellfire Pass Interpretive Centre. The interpretive centre presents the history of the Burma-Thailand railway under chronological and thematic headings, explaining the rationale for the railway, the way in which it was constructed and the hardship experienced by those who worked on it. Then you can descend the long set of stairs behind the museum on to Hellfire Pass Memorial Walking Trail following the original railway bed through the area’s rugged terrain—a reminder of the harsh conditions faced by those who built it.

From Phu Takien Pier, board a traditional longtail boat and cruise to the serene Floathouse River Kwai, a unique riverside retreat.

Check in to your Floating Villa, where modern comforts blend with the tranquil beauty of the river.

Conclude the day with a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay in this extraordinary setting, where the gentle sounds of the river create an atmosphere of peace and reflection.

Saiyok Waterfall & National Park – Lawa Cave [

After breakfast, take a long-tailed boat upstream to visit Sai Yok Yai Waterfall & National Park.

Then, visit the Mon tribal village, where the Mon people have lived for generations. Visit the Golden Rock, Buddha image cave and village school.

Take a short walk on easy jungle trail along the River bank to get to the stunning viewpoint of the River Kwai.

Lunch at the Floathouse River Kwai

In the afternoon you will visit Lawa Cave, explore many spacious chambers with stalactites and stalagmites.
