From the start of your trip, you will be amazed at all of the beauty present around Rome. The stunning architecture and buildings around you will mesmerise you from the first second.

You will explore the iconic Vatican museum and Sistine Chapel like never before, with a local guide present to tell you about the culture and history behind these enchanting sites.

An aperitivo is a cultural ritual in Italy that cannot be missed out on. You will be tasting local Jewish traditional foods whilst enjoying a glass of wine, as a pre-meal snack.

Immerse yourself in the cuisine, enjoying the many aspects of Italian cuisine present in the bubbling city of Rome!

Walk along the stunning cobbled streets whilst sightseeing, discovering the Baroque Rome with all of its stunning architecture.

This trip allows you to discover Rome like never before, making this weekend away one to remember!

Arrival Day

After arriving at your hotel, you can check in and spend the rest of the day as you desire.

Whether you choose to begin your adventures through the historic city centre or by dining in the delicious local restaurants, this stunning city has so much to offer you’ll be spoilt for choice.

 

Enjoying Rome's History

After breakfast, you will meet your local guide and visit the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. A path of indescribable emotions, during which your eyes will be enchanted by the works of the greatest artists of all time and by places that pass down centuries of history of the Vatican State, the Popes, and the Church.

In the afternoon, enjoy some free time to explore the many faces of Rome on your own. Imperial Rome is surely the most famous; the splendour of the ancient times is still very much alive and includes the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Domus Aurea and the Pantheon.

In the early evening, you’ll have your aperitivo in the Roman Ghetto. In the Ghetto of Rome, the Jewish tradition and kosher cuisine are very much alive. Discover and taste the “carciofi alla giudìa”, the traditional deep-fried artichoke originated in the Jewish community of Rome, with a glass of wine. This authentic experience is delicious and immerses you into aspects of local cultures.

Dinner will be spent as you wish. You can retreat back to your hotel to unwind, or explore more of Rome through its cuisine. Regardless of what you choose, you’re sure to have a delicious meal to end your busy day.

Exploring Rome and Departure

After breakfast, you will be checking out of your hotel but you can still enjoy the day in Rome.

Enjoy your morning at leisure, maybe discover the Baroque Rome. This is characterised by architects like Bernini and Borromini, with the stunning Piazza Navona and Piazza di Spagna, or the Renaissance Rome with its princely palaces, including Palazzo Farnese, Palazzo della Cancelleria and Villa Farnesina.

The stunning historic architecture in Rome is not to be missed, and is certainly worth a stroll around. Walking through the cobbled streets of Rome whilst admiring the unique structures is a must do as well as sampling some authentic roman street food before you back to airport for your return flight home.

Maison Roma Piazza di Spagna is set in a converted chapel 300 metres from the Spanish Steps, Spagna Metro is 5 minutes' walk from the property, while the Trevi Fountain can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. The popular shopping street o Via del Corso is 300 metres away.

The property offers a private courtyard, cocktail bar and WiFi is free throughout.

An extensive sweet and savoury breakfast buffet is provided daily, while guests can enjoy aperitifs and light snacks at the on-site bar.
