Cooking Class in The morning

Today’s experience one of Puglia’s most important treasures: olive oil! The olive mill on this ancient estate has been in use for thousands of years and provides a fascinating insight into olive oil production. We’ll walk through the beautiful grounds of the estate and of course enjoy some olive oil tasting and a picnic under the olive trees.

Next there will be a visit to the picturesque town of Ostuni regarded as an architectural jewel, commonly referred to as “the White Town” for its white walls and its typically white-painted architecture. Get lost in the hundred alleys, filled with workshops and Baroque churches.

Back at the masseria it’s time for your second cooking class where you will learn to prepare some typical vegetable dishes that you can easily replicate back at home like parmigiana (aubergine with baked in cheese and tomato sauce) and fave e cicorie (fava bean puree with chicory). You will spend 2 hours learning the recipes and tips to create typical Italian vegetarian dishes and then dinner will be based on your efforts!
