We are a female led – family owned boat tour operator that spans 4 generations of Icelanders. We started out in 2000 due to the families common interest in wildlife, boats and people and running whale watching tours were the perfect way to unite these factors, while giving locals and tourists the chance to experience Iceland’s marine life.

We have been fortunate enough to employ loyal people over the years and our team consists of hard working and enthusiastic employees, from captains to marine biologists and everything in between. Our team is like a big family and some have even been with us from the very start while seasonal employees return each summer.

The crew works hard on implementing our environmental policy to make it as efficient as possible. We ask our passengers to take part in the environmental work on board as we consider their contribution important. We are proud certificate holders of EarthCheck (advisory group for travel and tourism) and Vakinn (local quality and environmental system).

It is important to us to operate on sustainability principles, and therefore we abide by a code of conduct by IceWhale, as well as our own stricter guidelines, carefully put together by our expert guides and naturalists.

We are pleased to say that we were the first to offer whale watching tours from Reykjavík and Akureyri and now offer the most talked-about whale watching and sea adventure tours in Iceland. With decades of experience, we provide responsible boat tours, all year round.
