Chris & Karrel are your hosts, from Lancashire and Yorkshire respectively they made the move to Scotland in 2001. Formerly a game farmer and game keeper Chris cares deeply for the natural environment and this is demonstrated throughout the site with well over 700 native trees planted to date, a number he plans to double in the future!

Chris and Karrel love wildlife and take great pride in providing small mammal feeding stations around the site which results in the likelihood of you spotting chaffinches, goldcrest, great, blue and coal tit, woodpeckers and iconic raptors such as the red kite.
