Then, you will enjoy a guided walk in the medieval village of Saint-Emilion, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In this region, Merlot is the king of the grape varieties!
09.30 am: Meet your guide in the centre of Bordeaux and drive to St. Emilion on the way your guide will provide you with all the information about the Bordeaux & Saint-Emilion wine regions.
10.30 am: Collect the bikes in St Emilion and take an easy ride through the beautiful vineyards. Enjoy the view of prestigious properties such as Chateau Petrus or Cheval Blanc, some of the best wineries in Bordeaux
2.00 pm: Arrive at the first château a beautiful and charming building located in the heart of Saint-Emilion vineyards. Visit the vat house and cellar and discover the traditional way of making wine. After this there will be time for lunch ( not included)
For lunch (option 30-40€/pers. – not included in the price), we recommend a lunch at the castle, served on the terrace or in the castle park (weather permitting), you will taste delicious French specialties accompanied by Château wines or in a charming local restaurant carefully selected by our team of local experts. Let us know what you prefer on the day.
3.15 pm: Enjoy a guided walking tour through the charming village of St. Emilion, a UNESCO World heritage site dating from Middle-Ages.
4:30 pm: Visit and wine tasting session at a Classified Growth chateau on the edge of Saint-Emilion. Enjoy explanations about the winemaking process, from the vine to the bottle. Finish by a tasting wines from the estate.
After the visit, the Bordeaux St Emilion cycling tour is now finished, you will ride back to the minivan and then be transferred to the city of Bordeaux.
6.30 pm: Arrive back in Bordeaux
