At the edge of the Raudanjoki River, your family steps into a world where wilderness and comfort meet in perfect balance.

Tucked among tall pines, your cabin becomes a warm, private retreat — soft lamplight, wide windows opening onto drifting snow, and the gentle hush of the forest wrapping each evening in calm. It’s a place shaped for families who want space to breathe, to reconnect, and to share something truly special together.

Your days unfold in a rhythm of adventure and discovery. You glide through deep winter forest on a husky safari, trace snowmobile routes across frozen scenery, and wander the nearby Arctic Circle Hiking Area, where rivers, viewpoints, and peaceful woodland trails reveal the quiet beauty of Lapland. Each experience invites families to explore side by side, building memories rooted in nature and wonder.

At the heart of your stay is Niva Restaurant, the resort’s beautifully renewed dining space where warm timber, local ingredients, and glowing firelight create meals that feel both comforting and indulgent. From bright, unhurried breakfasts to cosy dinners that round off the day, every meal becomes a moment to pause and reconnect.

And when night falls, you venture out once more — gathering beneath the stars in hopeful search of the Northern Lights. When the sky begins to shift and glow, you witness it together: a shared story, a family treasure, a moment that lingers long after the journey ends.

*Based on per person, for family of 4 travelling end of November – 15th Dec in a Aurora Cabin.

A full example itinerary is detailed below, activity timings can differ slightly, your own personal schedule will be given to you upon check in.

Arrival Day

Your adventure begins when your private transfer meets you at Rovaniemi Airport to take you directly to your Lapland accommodation. Arrive at your Panorama Hut or Riverside Apartment, unpack and settle in to your surroundings.

Depending on how early you arrive, take some time to explore the site and the snowy forest, or simply relax and refresh after your journey before your evening meal at the site restaurant.

Explore the Wilderness by Husky Sled

On your first full day in the arctic wilderness, wake up to views of the still, snow-covered forest and fuel yourself up for your first adventure with a hearty breakfast at the restaurant.

Then, meet your guide for an unforgettable journey through this beautiful landscape of frozen rivers and vast fells behind a team of endlessly energetic huskies.

The locals in this region have been using dog sleds as a means of transport for millennia, so not only is this an opportunity to meet some incredibly cute huskies and explore the area, but it also gives you a taste of some authentic Lappish culture.

Spend the rest of your time exploring the site or simply relaxing in your panorama cabin, before settling in for a night of keeping an eye on the perfectly dark sky in wait for the aurora borealis.

Reindeer Experience and Snowmobile

Today, your day will centre around an animal that has played an absolutely central part in the lives of the locals for as long as humans have settled in Lapland.

Settle back in a sleigh as these gentle animals take you on a journey through the snow-covered trees, before enjoying a hot drink in a teepee where you’ll learn all there is to know about reindeer and how they are so important to the Lappish people.

Then, enjoy the thrill of speeding across snow covered fells and crashing through snow drifts as you follow your expert guide off the beaten track and into the heart of aurora country.

After a few breaks for a hot drink and for a chance to snap some pictures, head back to the resort for a final afternoon of relaxation your last night of watching for the Northern Light.

Departure Day

Wake up on your final morning to views of the snowy forest, then enjoy a final breakfast before checking out of your accommodation.

We hope that you have had an unforgettable few days with us in Lapland, and leave with precious memories of this once-in-a-lifetime destination.

Hidden Home of Santa (3-4hrs)

Venture into a forest bathed in candlelight and winter wonder. Nestled among whispering pines, the Forest Queen awaits—ready to lead families on a fairy-tale adventure filled with festive joy and timeless Lappish tradition.

Santa’s Secret Cabin reveals its hidden door; bring your children’s letters, and Santa himself will greet them with a special gift. In a cosy wooden hut, gingerbread decorating becomes a heartwarming moment for children and adults alike—bake, decorate, savour, or take your sweet creation home. A reindeer sleigh ride carries you gently through snow-laden paths—close your eyes and imagine soaring alongside Santa.

At the Christmas Tree of Wishes, guests are invited to write down their hopes and dreams and hang them in the glowing forest. The magic continues with hot berry juice and a delicious pastry, offering a comforting pause. Outdoors, children can revel in tobogganing, kick sledding, mini-snowmobiling and more—turning the snowy landscape into a joyful winter playground.

Please note: This experience runs only on Tuesdays and Saturdays, from 2nd December to 27th December.
