What You'll Do

Escape the city and delve into the beautiful countryside take in the view of the crystal blue water surrounded by high canyon walls as you listen to the birds singing. Discover this beautiful corner of the world, off the beaten track, with your local guide.

Catch a breath of the fresh mountain air and explore some of the most spectacular scenery you have ever seen!

This is an experience into the mountains and villages of Valencia to a place that few tourists know about, making this a truly off the beaten track experience.

See the Horta Nord, the amazing agriculture belt where traditional small farms grow most of the food and vegetables consumed in Valencia, drive under the imposing Roman Sagunto Fortress, stretching over 1km , and pass through the beautiful rural landsape in the Sierra Espadan mountains in a unique journey through the countryside of Valencia.

A reservation will be made for the group at a local restaurant at great value and options for different diet preferences. You’ll stop for about 1.5 hours to enjoy a full lunch and to connect as a group and try the local cuisine. Your guide generally joins in with the group to help break the ice between guests
and share stories and help with translations.

During the journey your guide will regale you with legends and quirky anecdotes from the small mountain villages, and olive and almond orchards, canyons and forests are some of the beautiful sights you will see along the way, before arriving at the oasis that is the  gorgeous thermal springs themselves. Admire the natural splendour of the waterfalls and the turquoise pools,  take a swim in the gorgeous mineral waters of the thermal springs.

Don’t forget to take swim suit and a towel; the bed of the springs is pebble, not sand,  so footwear is advisable.

Daniel is the founder of a local business aiming to help people connect with the real Valencia by experiencing many of the amazing things the local region has to offer. He is a Spanish national but speaks fluent English and he has lived in many places around the world, so he knows what makes a place special and exciting! He has a passion for nature and history and discovering new places is one of his favourite things to do. Daniel and his colleagues Amir, Vicente love to show people the beautiful and lesser-known parts of the Valencia region.

Location Information

You will start by meeting your guide in Valencia, before driving to Montanejos, 90km west of the city. Only accessible by vehicle, this is the perfect opportunity to explore one of the hidden gems of Spain.

The experience begins at 9am and ends at 7pm, lasting 10 hours total.
