The Pou Clar (or clear pools) of Bocairent are a truly stunning place to discover. Taking a walk or a swim here will feel like being at your very own spa, with the mini waterfalls and jacuzzi jet springs. There are pools of different sizes and depths, perfect for all ages!
Bocairent is a medieval village tucked away in the Mariola mountains south of Valencia. Full of hidden places to explore, the village makes for a perfect and exciting day out.
We will leave Valencia in the morning and head to the beautiful village of Bocairent. On the way, we will pass through picturesque orchards and the lunar landscapes of the Mariola mountains. We will stop off at the crystal clear “Pou Clar” – natural mountain pools and springs – for a beautiful walk or a refreshing dip, before continuing on our journey.
The village of Bocairent is Valencia’s best kept secret. Nestled into the mountain side, it is full of history and stories. We will see the labyrinth of Moorish caves carved into the mountain that make Bocairent look like a beehive, and explore the narrow winding streets. With beautiful views on every corner, Bocairent is truly magical.
With enough time to take in the sights, we then have the option to go for a nice lunch before slowly making our way back to Valencia. We will return to the city feeling re-energised and refreshed.
