What You'll Do

Get off the beaten track and stay in the beautiful countryside of Northern Ireland, far from the bustle of modern life in your own private glamping pod. Disconnect from daily life and routine for as long as you need, and spend your days hiking, fishing, or simply relaxing in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the charming Emerald Isle.

Arrive and check in to your private glamping pod, then spend the next few nights enjoying the peace and tranquility this little corner of Northern Ireland has to offer. Relax in this quaint, unusual place to stay and either choose to spend your days relaxing doing nothing, or seek out the unique activities in the area.

If you need something to fill the days with, there is plenty on offer. Meander along Johnny’s Trail, planted with more than 23,000 native trees, listen to the singing birds and discover the pond, roundhouse and bushcraft area on your way.

Learn about the rich culture and heritage of the Ring of Guillon, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The area is steeped in myths and legends, there are countless ancient stories which have been retold around the campfire for centuries; from where Fíonn fell into the lake on top of the mountain and gained his grey hair to where Sétanta slew the hound and was thereafter named  Cúchulainn, the Hound of Ulster.

Your hosts have farmed here for years and are delighted to share their knowledge of the local area, the traditions and the famous craic for which the Irish are renowned.

there are two types of glamping pods available :

Red Deer accommodates 2 people in a double bed, with bedside lockers and dim-able bedside lights.

Pine Marten and Red Squirrel can both  accommodate 4 people in 4 single camp beds.

Each Pod comes with a small decking and grass area directly outside the pod and has its own picnic bench and fire pit all surrounded within a circular stone wall.

There is an electric heater in each pod for chiller evenings and each pod has electrical sockets and internal and external lighting.

The entrance to each pod has sensor lighting and there is an outside tap with perfectly drinkable ( and regularly tested ) local spring water.

A kettle and mugs can be provided for the pods on request.

The communal kitchen area is very close by ( 20 mtrs) with fridge, sink, kettle and an oven

The toilet and shower blocks are also very close by (20-30m.)

The owner was very friendly and told us lots about the local history. All buildings and facilities are top notch, brand new and very well looked after. I would highly recommend a stay in the house or glamping options. Keep an eye out for all of the very nice woodcraft items. The seating area with BBQ is stunning. Also on offer were wood turning workshop's. Very authentic campsite to the area, well worth a visit!

We stayed at here for two nights and didn’t want to leave. It’s the best campsite I have ever stayed at. Beautiful and modern kitchen with lots of dinning space. Large, modern showers all super clean and extremely well maintained. Toilets right beside the tent section of the campsite with hot running water. Beautiful scenery and countryside. Great play park for kids. The outdoor spaces are very well kept and looked after. Highly recommended! I’ll definitely be back!
