Combine a stay in the hills overlooking beautiful Lake Garda with a hands-on cooking class in Albisano where you will learn to cook authentic Italian food in a professional restaurant kitchen.

You’ll spend 3 nights / 4 days in the lovely house overlooking Lake Garda, ideally located near one of  Lake Garda’s most historic towns. You will enjoy views over the stunning countryside and picturesque Lake Garda.

You’ll spend two mornings in a professional restaurant kitchen learning to cook a host of Italian dishes with Chef Andrea during a hands-on cookery lesson. After the lesson, you will sit down to enjoy the delicious food you have prepared with local wines as you enjoy spectacular lake views.

You’ll stay in a beautiful junior suite on the top floor of the house where the restaurant and cookery school are located. The junior suite is a spacious well-equipped room to relax offering stunning lake views on this cooking holiday in Italy.

The suite features a private entrance, private bathroom, WiFi, heating, two balconies and a private covered parking space. Room service breakfast is provided for you to enjoy in your room or on the balcony.

Check-in to your room anytime after 2pm.

The afternoon and evening are free for you to spend as you please.

 

Learn to Cook

Enjoy breakfast in your room or on the balcony before heading downstairs to the restaurant kitchen for your cooking lessons with Chef Andrea.

Your cooking lesson starts at 9.30am and finishes around 2.30pm after you’ve eaten the lunch you’ve learned to cook.

You’ll focus on learning to make a 3 course Italian meal.

Once you’ve cooked, you’ll sit down to enjoy a lunch accompanied by a glass or two of wine finished with a good Italian coffee.

The afternoon and evening are free for you to relax or explore Lake Garda.

Departure

After breakfast, guests are asked to check-out of their room ready for departure taking home with them new cooking skills from the Lake Garda area.

Chef Andrea & Lara

Chef Andrea and his wife Lara run a restaurant, cooking school and accommodation on Lake Garda in northern Italy. They have a passion for teaching restaurant standard Italian cuisine in a relaxed and fun way using only the freshest, seasonal produce much of which is sourced from local producers.

You’ll be taught to cook by Chef Andrea who has been cooking Italian food professionally for many years as well as head chef of his own restaurant. Lara will also be on hand to ensure your stay with them runs smoothly.

Location

You’ll stay in a pretty, newly renovated junior suite right above the cookery school with spectacular views of Lake Garda. Located near the historical Torri del Benaco, a lovely town on the shores of the clear blue waters of Lake Garda just 100 metres from the beautiful beach, learn to cook in a professional restaurant kitchen with friendly and professional Chef Andrea and host Lara.

Torri del Benaco is ideally positioned for exploring Lake Garda. A car-ferry operates frequently taking you to the western shore where you can explore historic lakeside villages. The eastern side of the lake is dominated by the magnificent Monte Baldo, where an ultra modern cable-car takes you to the top of the mountain in just a few minutes.

Getting there

Nearest Airport
Verona (around 40 minutes away)

The cookery school is situated in a small village called Albisano which is on Lake Garda.

Car hire is recommended.

By taxi:
Please note that taxi’s are available outside the airport and will take around 40 minutes to reach Lake Garda depending on the traffic and cost around 60 Euros.

By bus:
From Verona Porta Nuova station, you can take a bus to Torri where your host will gladly pick you up, however, car hire is strongly recommended.

A family amazing Cooking class We had a wonderful time today in Lara's and the greatest chef Andrea's lovely house with a fantastic view over Garda lake, it was one of the most powerful experience we had as a family.
