I then got to know the people behind the foodie stops and the restaurants and I was blown away. Blown away by their passion, their perseverance, their talent, the madness of their trade, the unicity of their offer.

I love bringing you to some of York's best (and most secret) restaurants, having a chat, a laugh, plenty to eat. To this day, I am amazed at everything these 'food entrepreneurs' bring to the table and that is why the Hidden Gems Food Crawl of York exists.

This tour is vegan but not gluten free.

Yes children aged 8+ can join, when accompanied by an adult.

The length of the tour is no more than a mile around the centre of York which is flat but sometimes cobbled, please note that not all venues are easily accessible by wheelchair.

Yes there is one stop which offers alcoholic drink tasting, a non-alcoholic alternative will be offered if requested.
