What You'll Do

Connect with horses, yourselves, and each other on this day of wellness. Enjoy being taught breath work and how to meditate as well as swimming in some refreshing water and a delicious lunch cooked on a fire.

Our Packhorse days have amazing reviews and are a perfect way to experience much of what the landscape has to offer, whilst connecting with horses, yourselves, and each other. The day begins in Rydal. We pack up the horses with equipment and set off walking into the hills. Along the way you will be guided and informed on the sights, nature and foraging tips, re-wilding wisdom and charming activities aimed at revealing the unique qualities of each group member.

We will have the opportunity to find out voice and expression in some local caves before setting up camp on a stunning piece of private woodland pasture next to Rydal water. We will learn the principles of starting a fire, explore your mind and body through movement, stretching, and balancing in nature with Ben, and learn how to maintain awareness moving through extreme environments safely. A delicious lunch cooked on the fire will be followed by a cosy and relaxing meditation, and breathwork session.

We will groom and meditate with the horses for an intimate emotional connection. There will be time for wild swimming, a hot cup of tea around the fire, and talking circle. Refreshed and rejuvenated, we will walk the horses back along the track to their paddock.
