What you'll do

Get off the beaten track in London on a bike tour that helps you find the spots most tourists miss, on London's most comfortable bike, with an expert local guide who can not only show you the best secret sights, but also bring them to life with wonderful stories and local insights.

Meet your guide at 3pm just outside Waterloo Station in central London, and set out on a unique bike tour that shows you some of the more offbeat attractions and curious corners of the city.

The tour includes visits to sites as diverse as the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, an exclusive central London marina, Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley, and London’s curry capital – Brick Lane. Here, you’ll take a break to explore some breathtaking street art, grab a coffee, or even a pint at a cornerstone of British culture – a classic East End boozer.

Inevitably, the tour has its wacky stories to tell – such as the ‘Leap of Faith’ by a London Bus over Tower Bridge, the Polar Bear that could regularly be seen on the banks of the River Thames catching its own dinner, and the ‘rude’ stockbrokers, banished from the Royal Exchange and forced to trade from the local coffee shop.

The tour combines medieval history, legend, scandal, and modern glamour. If you want an alternative ride through the capital, then this is the adventure for you.

I have a real passion for London and anything on two wheels. I have spent countless hours cycling the streets of London to create and perfect small group bike tours that follow the road less travelled and maintain your safety at all times. Our routes are designed to show off London in all its glory – hidden nooks & crannies, iconic monuments, secret alleyways, street art locations, local food markets and quaint old pubs with character and warm English beer (like all good things in life, an acquired taste!).

If you arrive at Waterloo by underground, after you have gone through the ticket barriers, take the escalators up into the main train station and then follow the clearly marked train platform numbers along until you reach numbers 1 & 2, where you will meet your tour guide.

What our travellers are saying...

We had a terrific afternoon cycling around the City of London and up to the Tower of London - with one of the highlights being cycling over Tower Bridge. Arranging the date to go on this cycling experience was very easy with Lee, at NITG, extremely helpful as she always is. The host, Paul, who took us on the cycling tour was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, treating us to anecdotes as we went from stop to stop. We went to places we didn'

Sandy

A fantastic, personal and engaging tour guide. Not too fast, not too slow and altogether highly recommended!

Cavan

We did the tour as a company summer event. Even though we're all based in London, the tour showed us some new areas. Some of us hadn't been on a bike in decades but they were easy to ride and everyone had a blast. Highly recommend!
