Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I I am a British girl who has been based in the Basque Country for the last 11 years after I completely fell in love with the place and the culture. I was born in England, spending all my Summers in Wales where we were thrown into everything to do with sea, by 10 years old I was sailing for GB then moved onto surfing and snowboarding in my teens which drove me to travel, visiting some of the most beautiful, unspoilt spots in the world. I’m hugely enthusiastic about everything to do with travelling having worked in the hospitality sector over Europe before moving into the fashion industry, recently heading up the womenswear product team for a Global street wear brand. I have a great perspective of exactly what being a tourist in the Basque Country means and how to make your San Sebastian tours as individual, memorable and as special as possible.

What inspired you to work in travel?

Firstly I absolutely love San Sebastián and having lived here a long time I found that a lot of the tours and experiences were the middle of the road, regular activities. So I wanted to share all the incredible parts of the city that no one else was really going to, a real local insider’s view that you wouldn’t get elsewhere.

What makes your experiences special?

I think the we pay so much attention to the small details. We want everyone to have the best, most authentic experience of their lives so we cover all the small details, anything someone wants to do, we’re flexible and can add it in, so there’s we definitely give more of a personal approach compared to other big tour companies out there. Also, on a lot of our experiences we use expert local guides. So you get an extra insight into the city that you wouldn’t get if you were on your own, or with a big group provider. We take people off the beaten track, it’s all about trying something and stepping out of your comfort zone. And that’s exactly what we allow people to do.
