Our passion and product is among the best kept secrets in the travel industry – but now we are ready to engage with our community of experiential travellers and travel agents as we embark on a journey of expansion.
Local travel is not easily accessible for most travellers. It’s inflexible, offered as part of group travel or as an all-or-nothing option.
When we are able to travel again post Covid-19, our research shows people will be looking to avoid over-crowded hotspots in favour of more individual trips. They’ll also be wanting to travel experientially, responsibly, and in a more eco-friendly way.
Our vision is to make local travel accessible in a way that fits into the travellers agenda. We work with local partners who are passionate about their experiences, their skills, where they live and keen to share its best-kept secrets.
We are making local travel accessible so anyone can experience its benefits, as well as the benefits it brings to local communities and the planet.
Local authentic experiences – made easy.
Our crowd-funding project with investment company, Seedrs, looks to offer small investments for travel agents and our community of experiential travellers, starting from just £10. The total money raised will be matched by the Governments’ Future Travel Fund, aimed to support businesses as they emerge from Covid-19.
We see this as a step towards investment on a small scale, keeping a keen eye on growth and reaping the reward of financial success.
In exchange, you will become a shareholder of Not In The Guidebooks and have a say in the way we shape for the future.
