Our top 3 ideas for Kate Middleton’s hen weekend
Tiara and Wedding Jewellery Course
To put an end to any intra-familial disputes over whether Kate wears the Middleton family jewels or something from the Crown Jewels to her wedding ceremony, here at NotInTheGuideBookswe’ve come up with the perfect solution: our Tiara making course in France.
On this course Kate would be able to create and individualise her very own tiara – right down to the very last pearl; and with a choice of either silver or gold plated wire, and a huge selection of semi-precious stones, pearls and crystals to choose from, there would be no cause to worry about her tiara not making the royal grade.
Kate could even send over a sample of fabric from her wedding dress before her weekend away, in order to ensure a perfect colour match between her outfit and her hand-made jewellery.
Plus, it wouldn’t just be Kate who got to have all the fun on this creative hen-weekend. Her bridesmaids and security guards would also be able to design their own sets of jewellery for the nuptials to guarantee perfect co-ordination throughout her troupe of wedding helpers.

Yoga Holiday fit for a Princess in Casperia, Rome
It would come as no surprise if Kate felt like a relaxing break after all the stress of organising a royal wedding, so we think this yoga retreat, in a medieval Italian village deep in the beautiful Sabina Hills is the perfect option for her hen weekend.
Kate would feel right at home staying in the turreted former residence of the Count and Countess of Casperia, the Forani Palace. Plus since Casperia is completely pedestrianised she wouldn’t have to shell out for security, as the paps wouldn’t be able to snap her from their cars or motorbikes.
Kate would be able to relax, unwind and recharge completely before her April wedding by making the most of everything that the area has to offer. We would recommend her taking a trip to the local hot sulphur springs where she could flush out her toxins, tensions and aches from her body, and enjoy a beauty mask made from the organic sulphur-rich mud to ensure she’s looking at her very best for her spring wedding.

Spanish Tapas Cooking Course
We all learnt about Kate’s flair for cooking in her engagement interview, so how about a hen weekend where she could work on her skills and learn to prepare some typical Spanish tapas?
She could put her culinary skills to good use after her wedding, serving them instead of canapés at her next royal function. They’d be the perfect thing to serve on King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofia’s next trip to the UK; we’re sure they’d be highly impressed by her talents.
The Finca where the royal party would be staying is extremely rural, meaning that they’d be far away from the prying eyes of the press, so there would be no need to worry about compromising pictures turning up in any of the tabloids. Plus, since the Finca only has 4 rooms, the hen party would be able to book the entire house to ensure complete privacy.
The outside kitchen at this school is perfect for a group of friends to practise their cooking skills, and even though we know that Kate will have her own private Chef once she becomes Princess Catherine, there’s no harm in picking up a few cooking skills – after all we all know the best way to a man’s heart!
Plus in this beautiful and remote location overlooking Lake Izjnar there’s plenty of room to land a helicopter if Wills misses his fiancée too much and fancies gate-crashing her holiday!
