Education and activity holiday sector growth

In the face of adversity, it is clear that one division of the travel industry is bucking the downward trend.  It seems that people the world over are increasingly looking for a bit of adventure, something a bit different and a bit more challenging when they are on holiday and a learning holiday with a balance of lessons and leisure fits the bill.

Education and activity travel group Holidaybreak have just announced a 9% increase in profit demonstrating strong growth and have been busy adding educational and activity holiday companies to their portfolio. Their latest announcement also states that they expect the education share of the group to grow strongly in the future.

TUI have also strengthened their specialist education and activity divison adding 4 new managing directors and announcing they are on the look out for acquisition opportunities so it seems that the beach boys also want to get in on the fastest growing sector in travel.

For’s customers, its not just a holiday, its about what they do when they get there and what skills they bring home that last longer than just holiday memories.  Our customers want to be part of the fastest growing trend in travel and we are adding new courses every week to keep up with demand.

Education and activity travel is a big, exciting business that is growing extremely fast and it seems that the larger tour operators now agree with us on the huge global potential.
