The word tapa means lid and it is thought that on a hot day in Andalucia a piece of bread topped with ham or cheese covered a glass of sherry to keep out the flies and started the idea of tapas, ‘eat when you drink and drink when you eat’ is the Andalucian way! have just launched two new delicious ‘nano’ cookery breaks in Andalucia where you’ll spend 1 night in a beautifully restored 150 year old Spanish Finca indulging your passion for food and wine.

These new ‘nano’ breaks come in at a credit crunch busting £155 per person for 1 night / 2 days where you can choose from learning to cook a selection of modern Tapas dishes or learn the art of cooking traditional Spanish Paella – the perfect dish to impress your dinner party guests.  After your class you’ll enjoy the delicious food you’ve cooked as the wine flows and you relax and appreciate the ‘real Spain’.

The views from the Finca are breathtaking and kicking back by the pool on your second day with a glass of something chilled is positively encouraged – you’ll feel refreshed, revived and in possession of a new skill that will stay with you long after the trip is over.
