Board a long-tailed boat and head down the Chao Phraya river and canals (khlongs) of Thonburi, the original site where Bangkok was founded before King Rama ! moved the capital across the river.
Thonburi is the otherside of the Bangkok river and will give you a glimpse of a slower local pace of life. The long-tailed boat will take you to Bangkok Yai canal and will stop by Klong Bang Luang community an Artistic village,which preserves the memories of the past and their traditional way of life.
Visit the temople of King Taksin, king of Thonburi where you will learn about Thailand’s previous capital.
You will then get a chance to meander through Talat Phlu an old community of Thai-Chinese people with the streets filled with food vendors. Your ,local guide will help you select the best snacks or desserts for your tasting.
We end the day wiyh a Rod Krapong experience which is the most popular local transportation to return to the BTS Wuttakat Skytrain Station.
