What You'll Do

In the garden of Bangkok, in an area called Nakhon Pathom, you'll get to take in the view of the magnificent rice paddies by local tractor – your guide being the local farmers!

Start your day by being collected and taken to the west side of Bangkok, heading to Nakhon Pathom – known as the garden of Bangkok.  This are is well known for farming rice, fruit and flowers.

You’ll visit the Khlong Yong community, a group of farmers who are passionate about organic farming and preserving the local rice. You will be taken by local tractor to visit the rice paddies (known as Kratae riding) where you will be shown the process of growing rice. You will also be welcomed into the farmers house and then back to the community centre for lunch.

Finish with making a traditional Thai dessert made from rice with the locals, before heading back to Bangkok central.
