What You'll Do

On this one-of-a-kind tour, you'll be taken to Seville's hidden rooftops with spectacular views of this architectural gem. Your guide will lead you to spots known only to the locals, so that you get unique views you simply wouldn't normally experience.

On this special tour of one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, you will be picked up at 10am from the City Hall at Plaza Nueva. A stunning patchwork of pale blue tile and palm trees, you wander from there to Seville Cathedral. A truly magnificent sight, this prime example of Gothic architecture is the third largest church in the world, topped by The Giralda, a former Arabic Minaret converted into the Cathedral’s bell tower.

You will be taken to three different rooftops, each with unique panoramic views of the Seville skyline, from its endless church towers and ancient city walls, to the medieval alleyways of the old Jewish Quarter and the exquisite Alcázar, the royal palace and former Moorish fort.

You’ll be led to these hidden gems and up these secret passageways by a local resident of Seville, who can pull stories out of the very stonework around you, bringing these stunning examples of architecture to life with fascinating stories of Seville’s past. They will lead you away from the crowds to spots the tourists would never find, giving the entire tour a private, exclusive feel.

The tour ends at the futuristic Metropol Parasol, a fascinating wooden structure with unparalleled views of the Seville’s centre, where you will have the chance to watch as the sun sets and the city glimmers into life.

A traveler since the age of 16. After a motorcycling trip in West Africa, I returned home to Seville, Spain with a new perspective on the importance of travel for both locals and visitors. Taking a closer look at Seville, I realised that the city I knew and loved was not the same one being packaged to unknowing travellers. The culture that made Seville so special to me was completely inaccessible to tourists. I was determined to find a way to give fellow travellers an authentic experience of Seville and Andalusia. A way to be invited into the culture as a close friend and not just a tourist.

This two-hour tour was easy walking and provided a nice overview of the city. We were able to see many of the wonderful locations in Seville from the three rooftops visited during the tour, and we were given a nice historical and cultural synopsis as we walked between the rooftop sites. It is well worth taking the tour just to skip the line at the Metropol Parasol, which is a fabulous landmark in and of itself and which provides wonderful views of the city.
