Whatever your level; learning Spanish on a yoga holiday in Spain is the best way to accelerate your language learning experience. Immerse yourself in the rich Spanish culture and progress rapidly practising your new found skills in your free time.

You’ll be speaking Spanish from day 1 and find yourself progressing rapidly as you practise your new skills and vocabulary both inside and outside the classroom.

Taught by highly qualified native Spanish speakers, groups are small and you’ll be placed according to your level when you arrive so you can be sure that you’ll be making the most of your time there.

Your yoga instructor is highly qualified and classes are located in a local studio just a short walk from the language school, where you’ll join other students and Spanish locals for relaxing and rejuvenating yoga classes, making it the perfect adventure in Spain for solo travellers.

These courses begin every Monday of the year except for the Christmas holiday.

However, if you are an absolute beginner, courses only begin on specific dates:

Experience Itinerary

Day 1-5

A Typical Day

– On your first day, please arrive at the school by 8.45am (8.30am if your course starts in July or August) for a short language level test
– This test will assess your understanding of the language and will help the course organisers to place you in the right group class for your level
– Spanish classes run daily Monday to Friday each week
– Language classes start at 9.15am each morning year round
– Please note that in high season, some Spanish classes will start at 1pm depending on your language level (this will be confirmed on arrival only)
– You will have 4 group classes per day lasting 45 minutes each with a short break in between
– During the week, you’ll have two yoga classes lasting 1 hour to 90 minutes each and the timetable will be confirmed on your first day at the school
– Your yoga lessons will take place at a local yoga studio in Gros, just a 10 minute walk from the language school
– You can practice from traditional Hatha Yoga to Rocket routines, Vinyasa Flow and Yin Yoga, among others

What can I do after the Spanish lessons?
Many people on these holiday courses travel solo as they make perfect singles holidays so the language school organises a host of social and cultural activities each week to help you to get to know your fellow classmates and to integrate you into the Spanish way of life, some activities are free and others have a small charge and may include:
– Visits to San Sebastian, excursions to Fishing Villages, guided visits to museums and more
– You have the opportunity to join dancing lessons or beach-volleyball games
– Weekend excursions to Pamplona, La Rioja, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris and more can be arranged
– You will have plenty of free time to explore the local area and practice your new found Spanish & surf skills or just kick back and relax on this fun learning holiday

You’re welcome to make your own arrangements so you can pick accommodation to suit your needs, however, optional accommodation can be booked in addition to your language course with a local host family. A taxi from San Sebastian airport to the town centre takes around 20 minutes and costs approximately €40.

Homestays
You will be made to feel perfectly at home living with one of the local families and this makes for a wonderful experience. Half board includes breakfast and dinner.

All home stays are located in different areas of San Sebastián and in general you do not need more than 15 minutes by bus to the center or the school.

Shared Apartment
Stay in an apartment shared with other language students and/or Spanish people, depending on availability. You will have your own room and will share a kitchen and bathroom. Rooms are safe and clean and all apartments are regularly inspected by the school. Accommodation is within 20 minutes of the language school on foot or via public transport but transport is not generally needed. A weekly cleaning service is provided for those who stay longer than 1 week. Prices are based on arrivals on the Sunday evening before your course starts and ends at 12pm on the Saturday morning after your course has finished.
