What You'll Do

Escape from everything you know into an ancient Afromontane forest so magical, you will be left wondering if this mountain adventure was a dream. The forest is alive with bird and frog sounds. All remnants of the city down below disappear completely from sight and sound. One becomes completely immersed in an alternative reality.

Myburgh’s Waterfall Ravine is an Escape from everything you know into an ancient Afromontane forest so magical, you will be left wondering if this adventure was a dream.

Unlike the many well-known paths on Table Mountain, this route remains undisturbed, peaceful and secluded.  You will be met by cascading waterfalls, hanging vines, Jurassic size ferns and ancient yellow wood trees fighting for sunlight.  The forest is alive with bird and frog sounds. All remnants of the city down below disappear completely from sight and sound. One becomes completely immersed in an alternative reality.

After emerging from the forest many hours later we will begin an equally delightful surprise of a journey, this time along the very top of the South Western plateau of Table Mountain.  We will dine above the clouds in the playground of the gods and eventually meander back to Earth along a carefully planned route offering a sensory overload that will leave you gasping in disbelief.   Once again, like all of my routes, you will be journeying to places very few locals have been.  We are very unlikely to meet anyone else along the way.
