Your guide will meet you at your accommodation, then you’ll begin by going out to explore one of Scotland’s largest and most important castles on our most popular day tour from Glasgow.
The historic Stirling Castle dominates the skyline, perched majestically atop a volcanic crag. Listen to fascinating stories about the Stuart Monarchy, Robert the Bruce, William Wallace and Mary, Queen of Scots, as you wander through the cobblestoned alleys and lanes of this iconic castle.
After lunch, sit back and enjoy scenic Scotland at its best, touring through the tantalising Trossachs National Park. Admire the majestic, distant mountains and shimmering blue lochs as we journey through the National Park to the ‘Bonnie, Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond’.
At the end of the tour, your guide will drop you back at your accommodation in Glasgow or in Largs to top of a great addition to any Scottish activity holiday.

I believe I have a unique approach to Scottish Tour Guiding, as I not only offer the historical facts, timelines etc., but I am a great storyteller. I marvel at Scottish history, Kings and Queens, murder, corruption and all the folklore embroiled in some wonderful stories. I bring these tales to life and enjoy the pleasure my guided private Scotland tour groups get from our Scottish adventures.
In addition, I always travel in full authentic highland dress, and you will be treated to a few traditional Scottish tunes on the bagpipes, at selected locations.
Your guide will meet you at 8 am at your accommodation in Largs or Glasgow, and take you in your own private transport to the incredible Stirling Castle.
