Bruschetta al pomodoro (Bruschetta with tomato and basil)
4  tomatoes, diced
6-8 fresh basil leaves, chopped
extra virgin olive oil
Salt & Black pepper to taste
8 slices crusty Italian bread
3 garlic cloves – cut in half crosswise

Preparation
In a medium bowl, combine the tomatoes, basil and oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Toast the bread lightly on both sides, then run the garlic halves across the bread’s surface and top with the tomato mixture.
