What You'll Do

Prepare for a day of adrenaline-fueled thrills, stomach-churning rappels, heart-pounding cliff jumps and a proper exploration of Portugal's incredible interior, discovering spots only the experts know of.

You’ll be picked up from your accommodation in Porto, then taken on a dramatic drive along mountain backroads to the dramatic canyons that creep through Portugal’s mainland.

With expert guides and high-quality equipment, your safety will be ensured at all times as you hike, swim, climb, abseil and leap your way downriver. As experts, they’ll also be able to tailor the trip exactly to your abilities.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned adrenaline junkie, the very best rivers and canyons will be chosen as per your skill level, and alternative routes will always be available for those that find the climb or leap a little too nervy!

This is the perfect activity for those that want to truly connect with the landscape, as you immerse yourself in crystal clear lagoons, scale rushing waterfalls and clamber over bare rock.

Take the adventure at your own pace, drink on the stunning, unique views you wouldn’t see on an average hike, or take the same exciting plunge time and time again.

At the end of this exploration of truly beautiful nature, enjoy a traditional picnic with us in the heart of the Portuguese countryside, absorbing the warm sunlight as you rest after a long day of excursions.

Finally, we’ll drop you back off at your accommodation in Porto.

Your Local Host:

Pedro Urgel

Born and raised in the delightful city of Porto, apart from a two year stint living in Scotland in my younger days, I have lived in Portugal all my life. When I was around 35, myself and a couple of my travelling friends (one of which is my brother), decided to set up our company. We set out scouting Portugal, visiting the places no one visits, meeting people, exploring landscapes discovering all these authentic towns. We know the country like the back of our hands, so when you go on one of our experiences you get an experts insight and learn so much more than you would visiting alone.
