Enjoy this day experience to a local vineyard where you will enjoy a full tour and a wine tasting of 6 different Portuguese wines, you'll drive from Lisbon to this picturesque vineyard, and discover all that Lisbon's wine region has to offer.
Meet your guide in Lisbon centre and travel to Torres Vedra, a town close to Lisbon, located in an area full of history, amazing landscapes and gastronomy.
It is one of the most important wine-producing regions of Lisbon, with around six thousand hectares of vineyard area benefitting from the good climate, and soils to produce some of the best wines in Portugal such as the red Bonifacio and whites such as Dory.
On arrival at a prestigious wine cellar you will meet a local guide and wine specialist, who will tell you all about the history of the place, and how it evolved from an ancient wine press to a fully operational modern wine cellar.
From there, you will continue the visit through the vineyards on-board a 4WD convertible car for approximately 40 minutes accompanied by your guide to enjoy the hilly landscape of vineyards and picturesque landscape, learn fascinating facts about grape varieties, vine growing, and winemaking, and to have a first wine tasting while enjoying the sun and fresh air from the region.
This is a unique and exclusive way to visit one of the most beautiful vineyard landscapes of the Lisbon Region. You will continue your tour by going to an ancient “Lagar” (old wine press house), surrounded by picturesque houses and gardens, to travel back in time and understand the old Portuguese culture of the winemaking process. Then it’s time for another wine tasting of 4 different wines made from the same grapes of the vineyards.
