What You'll Do

Drink in the sight of the majestic Pulpit Rock, which soars into the sky above the incredible Lysefjord, as glide serenely on this fully-electric fjord cruise! Pulpit Rock is renowned for being one of Norway's most beautiful destinations and on this trip, you experience the mighty plateau from the shimmering waters of Lysefjord.

In the center of Stavanger, you board a brand new fully electric boat, which first takes you to the “Vagabond’s Cave”. Here you will hear the legend of this mysterious opening in the mountain. The boat continues its journey into the Lysefjord and with the Hengjane Falls, the boat will carefully nudge its bow up to the waterfall and you can actually feel the spray of the fresh water on your face!

But the definitive highlight of the tour has to be Preikestolen. As the boat stops in the Lysefjord you can tilt your head back and see the majestic mountain plateau rise 604 meters above you, a truly amazing sight to behold!

You can enjoy all this striking scenery from the comfort of the boat’s sheltered cabin, through panoramic windows, or venture out on the spacious sundeck.

Your Local Host:

Ingrid

My name is Ingrid and I was born and raised in the west coast of Norway – in the middle of majestic mountains and deep fjords.

I myself will always prefer the less crowded places where I can connect with nature but at the same time with the comfort of a hot shower and a great meal.

Location Information

The cruise departs from the centre of Stavanger, on the south-west coast of Norway. From the harbour, you will travel eastwards, through the broken up coastline, to Lysefjord.

After your 3 hours or so on the tour, you will be returned to the harbour in Stavanger.
