The summer holidays are all about the best Cape Town beaches to explore. This is where all the action happens. The best beach in the world for me is (obviously) in Cape Town. This city is my home and I am biased … but what’s not to love about the beautiful beaches, spectacular food, incredible people and endless outdoor activities!
Easily making it in to my top beach experiences is the Llandudno Boulder Adventure. Llandudno is one of the most beautiful beaches in Cape Town. It’s quite well known in the surfing community, offering a right and left break. On our tour we will walk across this amazing beach and explore the various boulders and rock formations.
Next up is our Active Peninsula Experience . This is a classic outdoor snorkeling and surfing beach day. We’ll travel the scenic coastal route to Hout Bay and snorkel with the Cape Fur Seals. Then we continue over Chapmans Peak Drive to Kalk Bay for a fish and chip lunch at Korkys, a vibrant and popular local restaurant. In the afternoon our destination is Muizenburg Beach where you will be kitted out in all the necessary gear to learn to surf the small waves.
Venture along the east coast from Cape Town to places like George or Plettenburg Bay and you’ll encounter a more sub-tropical eco-system of lush green forest trails and dramatic coastline. The so called ‘Garden Route’ draws holiday makers from all over the globe. Be it for coastal walking, camping, caravanning or a little bit of luxury … the Garden Route has it all.
My final beach is in a secret Cape Town location with spectacular views of Camps Bay and the sunset. You’ll enjoy a gourmet mussel feast from our Outdoor Beach Kitchen and you’ll have to promise not to tell everyone.
Join me on the beach soon.

PLEASE NOTE: Of course I’ve just touched on a few great places you can travel to. I’ve focused on the beach, but we are truly a nation made for the summer time.
