Enjoy a relaxing bike journey through the Italian countryside of Monopoli, before trading land in for sea and sailing along the Apulian coastline and tasting some authentic cuisine.
We will start from Monopoli old town and we’ll go riding a mountain bike in South direction discovering medieval villages excavated into the rock, with churches underground famous for wonderful paintings on the walls. Following the Roman route built by Emperor Trajan we will stop at the National Archaeological Park of Egnatia, where we can admire the remains from the Bronze Age, the Greek Age and the Roman Age. Then we will arrive at Savelletri, a small village of fishermen with a nice harbour, where we will find a comfortable boat. We will come back to Monopoli relaxing on-board, swimming and tasting typical Apulian products.
