- A Typical Day
The itinerary is for guidance only and is subject to change depending on the group’s needs and wishes but is typically as follows:
8-9am: Sit down to a delicious buffet breakfast
9:30am-12:30pm: Morning art session – work in the studio or paint ‘en plein air’ in the surrounding areas
1-2:30pm: A traditional Italian lunch is served before some time to relax at the house or explore your location for that day
3-5pm: Afternoon art session – continue your work from the morning either at the studio or on location while discussing progress and sharing ideas with the group
6:30pm: Aperitivo time! Share ideas and inspirations from your day with the rest of the group over a drink
7pm: Dinner will be served at the farmhouse or a local restaurant
– Excursions/painting locations can change seasonally and depend on the group’s opinion but some examples are sunflower, olive or vineyard landscapes, along with historic hill-towns such as Montedinove, Montalto delle Marche, Force and Ascoli Piceno
– After dinner, evening activities may include art seminars, visits to seasonal local festas or simply time to relax
– Other evening activities such as bingo and pizza night, classical film night and more will be offered at the farmhouse
– Your hosts are flexible and willing to accommodate the needs and wishes of the group, their goal is to give you a wonderful holiday and painting inspiration in one
Accommodation
The farmhouse accommodation is made up of three guest rooms and two self-contained apartments. Each bedroom is spacious and has been lovingly decorated and renovated to provide you with modern comforts yet retaining the traditional charm.
Onsite, there is a swimming pool as well as many outdoor terraces & pergolas. Here you will enjoy al fresco dining in the evenings, work on your art or simply relax and read a book. Not to mention the art studio, which you are free to use whenever the feeling strikes you.
– This holiday is based in a beautiful Italian farmhouse that has been lovingly restored into charming accommodation with an onsite art studio
– There are six individual guest bedrooms over 2 floors; 4 of which have an en-suite bathroom
– Two bedrooms are in a self-contained apartment on the ground floor and share one bathroom
– Rooms are wonderfully spacious and decorated to high standards
– Fully stocked art studio for whenever you want to create
– There are tea and coffee making facilities available all day
– WiFi is available throughout the property, both inside and in the garden
– Large, inground pool open from late June to early September (unheated)
– The property also has sun-loungers, a library, covered terraces with beautifully scented roses and wisterias to provide shade while you’re drawing or relaxing
– There are stunning walking trails of all durations in the surrounding countryside as well as to the local town of Force, nearby vineyards and olive groves, as well as an ancient chapel to explore
– You’ll find 360 degree views across the region, towards the sea, mountains and myriad of hill-towns dotted across the rolling hills – plenty of inspiration for sketching, painting and great photographs
– Accommodation is included for 5 nights / 6 days
– Check in anytime after 3pm on day 1 and check out by 10am on day 6
