Go and immerse yourself in the stunning landscape of the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland, and enjoy beautiful hikes along rugged coastlines, head out on star-gazing tours and e-bike adventures, and stay in beautiful accommodation nestled in gorgeous countryside.

Arrive at your first beautiful stop, an estate in lush Irish countryside, and begin your short adventure on the Emerald Isle with an e-bike tour that follows the wild Bangor Trail. Spot leaping salmon, snoozing otters and diving kingfishers on your tour, led by a local who can take you further off the beaten track than you would ever be able to go yourself.

This sense of wilderness is really hammered home on your stargazing safari, that takes place in the Mayo International Dark Sky Park, one of the best spots for stargazing in the whole of Europe. Drink in the views and enjoy a traditional storytelling experience with a hot chocolate, for a truly magical evening in Ireland.

From there, it’s on to the stunning Slieve League cliffs, where you can choose to take a guided hike in the area, or a cruise to the bottom of the highest sea cliffs in Europe.

All the while, you’ll be staying in truly luxurious accommodation – an estate in County Mayo, and a 5* Castle in County Donegal, meaning you can experience the very best of active Ireland, all in complete comfort.

Arrive in County Mayo

Welcome to Ireland! Arrive in Dublin Airport, collect your car rental and drive to Co. Mayo. Check-in to Mount Falcon Estate and enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

Accommodation: Mount Falcon Estate

Famous for luxurious accommodation and award winning food, Mount Falcon Estate offers rest and relaxation in many forms. Indulge in the fabulous Spa & leisure center or learn to fish on the Estate Lake. Catch the elusive Wild Atlantic Salmon on their private stretch of the River Moy.

Take flight with the Falcons, walk with the Hawks and learn
about the nature of the wise Owls. Take aim with archery or hit a flying target on the Clay Shooting range. Alternatively, fine tune your drive on the 9 bay golf driving range.

There are also walks & cycles on 3 km of forest trails or meet the gardener and his busy bees in the Kitchen garden. There’s so much to experience on this 100 acre Estate.

E-bike Adventure and Star Gazing

This morning, enjoy an ‘off the beaten track’ experience and join your local guide on a private guided e-bike tour. This is a ‘off-the-beaten-track’ tour for the more adventurous. You will find secluded beaches, waterfalls and lots of open space.

Using the Greenway, the tour heads off into a thousand square kilometres of wilderness exploring glacial riverbeds, waterfalls, Bronze Age forts, ancient abbeys and castles along the way. This is a wilderness of real variety and helps you feel truly off the beaten track.

Here the sheep outnumber you by a hundred to one. Watch salmon leap up waterfalls, trout jump, herons and kingfishers dive and splash, and otters play. Your guide will be around to help with invaluable local knowledge of hidden secrets stories and information, but ultimately it’s your adventure.

Star gazing & Dark Sky Tour:

Wonder at the dazzling beauty of a natural night sky on a dark sky tour. Mayo International Dark Sky Park has been certified at Gold Tier dark sky park for its night sky quality.

Your guided tour combines a laser pointer tour of the starry skies and constellations with an introduction to the local nocturnal wildlife in the Mayo International Dark Sky Park.

Our guides know the dark sky park intimately and will bring you to the darkest viewing places and bring the night sky and mythical constellations to life with a tour of the celestial heavens.

The evening concludes with a visit to a traditional Seanchaí (storyteller) for local tales and stories together with close up magic and a drop of hot chocolate to set the scene under the night sky. This tour involves some short walks with transportation in between. Tours subject to weather and cloud conditions.

Slieve League Cliffs

This morning, check–out of Mount Falcon Estate and make your way to Co. Donegal. Enjoy either a private guided hike of the Slieve League Cliffs or a Slieve League Cliffs Cruise. In the afternoon, check-in to Lough Eske Castle for 1 night.

Slieve League Cliffs:

Rising almost 2000 ft/598 m from the Atlantic, one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe and twice as high as the Cliffs of Moher, at the base of the cliffs is the Giants Desk and Chair. Standing at the viewing point on Slieve League, an amazing sea vista and landscape open up before you. From here you can see across Donegal Bay to counties Letrim, Sligo and Mayo, out to the west is the Atlantic Ocean.

Sliabh Liag Cliffs Cruise:

Departing from Killybegs Harbour, The Sliabh Liag Cliff Tour will travel to the base of the cliffs encountering wildlife and points of interest
along the way. For example, upon leaving the harbour you will be met with Rotten Island Lighthouse constructed in 1838, or as you near the cliffs you will see the ‘Giant’s Desk and Chair’ which your skipper will explain the story of. In terms of wildlife, keep an eye out for bottlenose dolphins, seals, atlantic puffins and basking sharks, all of which frequent the area.
