Altis is a qualified horticulturist who fell in love with the bush many years ago After spending all his holidays exploring the kalahari, Namibia and lots of other places for many years, he decided to establish a business offering privately guided Adventures to discerning guests wishing to experience the wonders of the African bush at close quarters Couple this to his great passion for people as well as his addiction for bush cooking and you have the recipe for great adventures

Altis is a qualified National SA culture guide, National Nature Guide, Dangerous Animal guide, Tracker and finally a 4×4 Adventure Off Road guide

He is furthermore a principle member of both SATSA and Cape Town Tourism

Apart from doing great adventure safaris he also enjoys his Toyota Landcruisers and spend a lot of time making sure they are always in top condition

When not on an adventure somewhere in Africa he is actively involved in the running of his garden landscaping business in Cape Town, which celebrated its 21 birthday this year
