This is the ultimate tour of the lush, green Sporades Islands in the Aegean Sea. Hop from Alonissos to Skopelos ( the island where the film Mamma Mia was based) to Skiathos, along the way discovering secret caves by boat, beaches untouched by human activity, and getting to know true, authentic Greek culture thanks to local hosts and guides. Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonnisos are three beautiful islands located at Sporades. They are well known for their amazing blue-green waters, and you will have 15 days in order to explore every part of them and relax at their beautiful beaches.

Your two week adventure begins when you land in Skiathos and are transferred to your ferry to Alonnisos, the most remote and off the beaten track of the Sporades islands. Whilst here, you’ll enjoy a unique boat tour that takes in magical, white-sand beaches and hidden caves along the rugged coast.

With some of the best swimming and snorkelling in all of the Greek islands, this trip around Alonnisos is a real treat. The middle section of your holiday will be spent at Skopelos, the greenest and most lush of the Sporades, and during your time here you’ll enjoy one of your most memorable days.

Arrival Day

Land in Skiathos airport and meet your driver, who will transfer you to Skiathos port in order for you to catch a ferry to Alonnisos.

Once you arrive in Alonnisos, you’ll be taken to your hotel where you can refresh, relax and get ready for two weeks of Greek island adventures.

Explore the Beautiful Coast

In the morning, transfer to Alonnisos port in order to start your boat excursion. Today, you’ll get well and truly off the tourist trail and explore the hidden beaches and caves of this gorgeous coastline, with as much swim or dive time as you want.

Over the day, you’ll visit Patitiri, the capital town of the island of Alonnisos in the Sporades archipelago, located on the southern part of the island, and Kyra Panagia, a beach which has belonged to the Athonite monastery of Megisti Lavra since it was granted to the island by the Byzantine emperor Nikephoros II Phokas in 96.

Discover the ‘Blue Cave’ as you explore the wild and rocky coastline of Alonissos island, blessed with many small, magical caves with deep-blue waters that blow away visitors with their vibrancy of colour.

The Blue Cave is located on the northeastern side of Alonissos, between the remote beaches of Strovili and Lalarias, a few km north of Agios Dimitrios village. Waters around here are so clear that the rocks around are reflected in the waves like they’re shining on glass.

At the end of the day, you’ll be transferred back to Alonissos.

Free Day

On your third and fourth days, explore the island of Alonnisos at your own pace. This green emerald of an island hides stunning beaches and untouched little villages for you to explore, and your guide will be more than happy to provide recommendations of what to do, where to go, and where to eat and drink.

Alonissos to Skopelos

In the morning you will be transferred from your hotel to Alonnisos port in order to travel at Skopelos Island. From there, you will be transferred from Skopelos port to your hotel.

Relax and enjoy a free evening either exploring the town or simply chilling in your hotel.

Private Fishing Day

This morning, you will be transferred from your hotel to Skopelos port in order to start your unique day trip. Enjoy the experience of fishing in the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea with an experienced captain, a truly local experience that gives you real insight into local culture in the Sporades.

The cruise will take place from 10:00-18:00, and all the snorkelling and other relevant equipment will be free to use during the day, so you can take a break by enjoying a dip in the Aegean Sea.

There will also be a lunch cooked and served on board, and you’ll be able to enjoy the memorable experience of eating seafood you have just fished for yourself! Soft drinks, beer, wine, ouzo/tsipouro are included at the meal. After the trip, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Free Days

On your seventh and eighth days, explore the island of Skopelos at your own pace. Famously the greenest island in Greece, Skopelos is also one of the most beautiful and is an asolute treat to discover independently for a couple of days.

Your guide will be more than happy to provide recommendations of what to do, where to go, and where to eat and drink.

Skopelos to Skiathos

You will be met at your hotel and transferred to Skopelos port for your ferry to Skiathos. Once there, you’ll be taken directly to your hotel where you can relax and prepare for three magical days of activities on the island.

The main town centre is just moments away and reliable, convenient transport links make getting around easy. Round the Island of Skiathos

You will be transferred from your hotel to the old port of Skiathos in order to depart at 10:00 am on a boat tour around the island, making three stops:

1st Stop: After an hour and a half, stop at the famous Lalaria beach, which is accessible only by boat and remains untouched by human activity.

2nd Stop: Enjoy a one hour and fifteen-minute stop for a swim or visit the rocky peninsula of Skiathos Old Town, “Kastro”.

3rd Stop: This will be a one and a half hour stay at the beach of Aselinos or Katigiorgi in Pelion, for swimming or eating. Return to the port of Skiathos at 17:00 approx. and head back to your hotel.

Private Guided Cycle

This morning, you will be transferred from your hotel to the starting point of your optional cycling activity. The routes you can take depend on the cycling level within your group.

All of them last about 4-5 hours, but are of varying degrees of difficulty.

The levels are:

Single Track: The riders just go downhill the paths.

Cross Country (Mixed): The riders go on a dirt road and on paths.

Enduro: For advanced riders.

You can inform your guide of what level of tour you would like to take on arrival.

Private Walking Tour of Skiathos

You will start your walking tour from your hotel and head into Skiathos town, where you’ll find most of the island’s buzzing life and local atmosphere.

It’s filled with shops, bars and cafes, as well as restaurants and tavernas where you’ll find some of the very best authentic Greek food in all of Skiathos. You will stroll along the waterfront (including the Old and New Port and the Bourtzi peninsula) which is a special experience, but you’ll also adore exploring the maze of alleyways of tightly packed whitewashed houses.

It feels like every time you turn a corner, you’ll find another adorable little spot or a bougainvillea-filled courtyard. At the end of your tour, you’ll be dropped off in a convenient place in town.
