What you'll do

This electric snowmobile adventure offers you a fantastic opportunity to discover the beautiful Arctic nature in total silence! Set off into the forest in the morning to enjoy the few hours of daylight the Arctic winter has to offer, before learning how to master this e-Sled by driving on the frozen lake and in snowy forest.

Driving on the frozen lake and through the snow-clad forest, you get to see the rising sun turn the wilderness into a vista of glistening white. Enjoy a nice break by fire camp in a cozy wooden kota, where you will grill some sausages with the help of our guide. You will stop on scenic view point to feel the peace and get a nice souvenir photo!

The eSled – electric snowmobile is an innovative new way to experience the Arctic splendor without disturbing the silent peace of wintry nature. Your hosts are the first company in the world offering electric snowmobile safaris, a sustainable way of experiencing and exploring the purity and silence of the Lappish nature.

I found it here in the Finnish Lapland, where I can share the natural phenomena, opportunities, and beauty this amazing place has to offer. Lapland is also a great place for me to raise my family. Local nature connects people as you can share beautiful moments with strangers in very peaceful environments. Winters here are long, and without doubt this is the hardest job I have ever done. But I love it and I can promise the warmest of welcomes and an amazing time!

FAQs

Who can drive the snowmobiles?

Each person driving a snowmobile must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driving license. Please remember to take your driving license with you. Finnish law prohibits driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicating drug.

How many people per snowmobile?

Two persons per snowmobile. For groups of 3 persons or other odd number of people, we highly recommend purchasing one single driver supplement.

How does the experience work for children?

Child prices apply to children aged 4-14 years. In snowmobile programs children less than 140 cm travel in a sleigh pulled by a guide. Children over 140 cm are allowed to sit on the snowmobile as passengers when paying the adult price.

What do I need to bring?

The best way to dress up for eSled safari is to dress in layers. If there is not enough clothing, your hands and feet will cool down first and gradually the whole body.
